Illustrations Animated for a section of the Martin Newell - The Jangling Man documentary film. Images are taken from cinemas across the USA.

Working with UEFA and the Danish National team to create artwork for the Euro 2020 competition. The illustrations focused on interviews with different players, from their dreams of one day representing Denmark at the Parken stadium. The images I created responded live to the words of the players and manager. The final film was then played on the Euro Show on ITV4.

Lennox Point is being spearheaded by Portsmouth City Council as part of the city’s regeneration strategy and is one of the largest regeneration programmes planned for the UK. They required illustrations to visualise different areas of the development and highlight key design principles all rooted in creating a sustainable neighborhood for the future.

Highlighting the significant use of Propaganda that arguablyv influenced the outcome of World War 2. The growing popularity of cinema in the run-up to the war provided fertile ground for filmmakers to help in the battle for 'hearts and minds’, using their films as effective tools of persuasion at pivotal moments in the conflict.

Highlighting how mythmaking has fed cynical perceptions of audiences, who have feasted on this diet of misinformation and disinformation for years. Analyzing how governments have played their role in scripting entertainment and seized editorial control over thousands of films.

For the past 50 years Cuba’s future has been embedded in global systems that have the ability to connect and disconnect them in surprising and complicated ways, which has effected the day to day lives of those inhabited there. My main intention during this project was to document and bear witness to particularly interesting aspects of Cuban lifestyle, industry and culture through a series of reportage driven, visual essays. My journey began in the bustling capital of Havana. From here I trickled my way down the south coast of the island towards Baracoa. Cuba still exists in a time-warped state as a result of its restricted trade laws since the Cold War. Despite the Embargo between the United States and Cuba not being lifted, it has been relaxed to allow import, export, and certain commerce between the two countries. I have uncovered my stories from local cubans and communities about how this has affected their lifestyle and shaped the landscape around them. In such a landscape of interwoven narratives, I was challenged with documenting this network of hidden stories and re-imagine the complex and contradictory realities of the present. Creating these drawings as a historical record and platform I hope to suggest the extraordinary future of this complex, unique country.
